From initial design through to the finishing touches, we rate Parabuilds as a five‑star operation. Communication and accountability were excellent throughout the entire project. Rob and Andrew consistently demonstrated deep knowledge of building code, engineering, structural integrity, and design. They were more than accommodating with design changes and frequently proposed well‑reasoned revisions that ultimately improved the final result. They were straightforward and honest from the outset, presenting a comprehensive initial budget that we were able to stay within. With their guidance, we struck the right balance between our vision and our budget, achieving the look we wanted with high‑quality finishes. Andrew and Rob respected our desire for quality without overspending and sourced top‑notch suppliers and craftsmen. In several instances, they suggested alternative products or approaches—such as flooring, soffits, and fascia—that we truly appreciated. They also advised us on cost‑effective exterior features and finishes that we absolutely love. As expected with a project of this scale, a few minor issues arose. When they did, Rob and Andrew were responsive and transparent, and when third parties were involved, they followed up persistently with suppliers and installers to keep the project moving forward. There are countless features we love about our home that Andrew and Rob helped design, including the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, utility spaces, decking, and more. They listened carefully to our priorities, even accommodating our request to preserve certain trees while still creating a large, beautiful deck. Andrew’s efforts to help design and install our large, one‑of‑a‑kind lighting feature in the main stairwell were truly extraordinary. We highly and confidently recommend Parabuilds for renovations or complete builds.

We had an outstanding experience with Rob and Andrew. We started and completed our deck project in 2023. We wanted something that was not only aesthetically beautiful but would last and not have to be replaced. They led with communication, insight and patience throughout the entire journey; from design, material selection, pergola sourcing and build. Their trades were first class; hardworking, adaptable and they showed up when it was expected (which as we have found on other projects, is not usually the case). Furthermore, one year after the deck was built, we needed to add gable vents to side of the deck, and without any issue, they solved the problem. Even after a year, we still get tons of compliments on the workmanship from neighbours / passerbys all the time. I would work with Rob and Andrew again on any major project we have in the future, and would without question, recommend them to anyone looking to for a trustworthy, professional and respectful builder.
